According to the manufacturer, the vehicle-type semi-truck Truck named Frieghtliner Inspiration is using technology that adopts the autopilot system on the aircraft. With the adjustment in some parts, autopilot systems used on fighter jets or passenger plane was pinned in the truck concoction Daimler-Benz steering system to run automatically.
Daimler-Benz explains that large trucks have been fitted with sensors in all parts of his body, including a radar in the front that could see the road as far as 800 feet.
As quoted by Mashable, named Frieghtliner Inspiration Truck truck is also equipped with a camera mounted on the right and left sides of the body. The high-tech camera is able to detect lane markings and can read the situation on the road in order to avoid the other cars. Thus, the truck made in the German manufacturer were not only able to walk alone, but also be able to know the rules that apply in the road such as maximum speed limits and so on.
Although able to walk on his own, the revolutionary truck still need humans in the cabin. Daimler parties explained that the autonomous artificial truck that still need people to control the automatic steering control.
