Yamaha is preparing finally to ensure the 250cc supersport model. The assurance was conveyed directly Hiroyuki Suzuki who had just served as managing director and chief executive of India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd.
Hiroyuki revelation is at once menutaskan rumors about Yamaha 250cc which last year broke. In fact, he stated that in addition to sport 250cc class, Yamaha will release the latest model 200cc class. Both models will strengthen the ranks of economically Yamaha sportbike that previously filled only R15.
Another interesting issue that is also expressed Hiroyuki Yamaha plans to remove automatic scooter (scooter) with a capacity of 150cc engine as opposed to the Honda Activa and Suzuki Access in India.
Even so, there is no certainty when the 250cc supersport will begin to be marketed in India. Hiroyuki just say Yamaha India will increase the plant's production capacity reaches 2 million units per year starting 2013.
