Every major auto show that Brabus goes to, you can expect that at least one of its programs will be dedicated to the billing "fastest-something-in-the-world".
At the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show , that distinction falls on the capable shoulders of the 2013 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake .
If you thought that station wagons are merely characterized as family cars, Brabus’ 850 6.0 Biturbo program will throw that notion right out of the window with the fury of a car running 800 horsepower worth of output.
That’s what makes this Brabus program for the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake such a mouthful to digest. Sure, it already has the performance credentials to be called a powerful car, but the German tuner takes it to a whole new level normally reserved for exotic coupes.
Then again, we shouldn’t be surprised anymore because Brabus does it over and over again, and the results have been nothing less than spectacular.

exterior

One look at the exterior of the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, and you’ll immediately notice the changes the German tuner did to the five-door wagon. As expected, the front fenders received some carbon-fiber treatment, as did the new rocker panels. Integrated LED entrance lights were installed, giving a more balance look on top of the functional benefits that come with it.
The front fascia, particularly the air slots integrated just under the car’s hood and above the radiator grille, give more access for fresh air to enter into the new intake manifold, keeping it from getting too heated if need be.
Around back, the dual tailpipes of the car’s high-performance exhaust system were refined with a clear-coated carbon-fiber diffuser with tailor-made cutouts, while a set of 20-inch Brabus Monoblock R "Platinum Edition" wheels round out the astonishingly sleek and classy modifications on the car’s exterior

interior.

Obviously, a car touted as the most powerful wagon in the world has to have an interior befitting of that stature.
To its credit, Brabus was up to the task, giving the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake’s cabin some posh aesthetic upgrades, including the choice of any fine leather and Alcantara in various shades and colors. Aluminum details are also part of the program, something Brabus used on the wagon’s pedal pads, door-lock pins and the shift paddles on the steering wheel.
Carbon-fiber inlays and wood trim are also offered in any desired color, depending on the whims of the customer. Finally, scuff plates with a back-lit Brabus logo remind you of what kind of machine you are getting into, and attachable rear tables on the back of the front seats adds another place where rear passengers can put all their knick-knacks.
