Sales Target Nissan X-Trail Unit 5 Hybrid Every Month - PT Nissan Motor (NMI) has officially released the Nissan X-Trail in November 2015 Hybrid ago. Now, after more than a month since the debut of the X-Trail hybrid engine in the country, Nissan is still trying to meet sales targets. Presenting the Nissan X-Trail Hybrid is indeed one bold step taken by PT NMI. This is because the hybrid type vehicle market share is still relatively small when compared to conventional-engined cars. But despite terklihat heavy enough, but Nissan claims remain optimistic with gait Hybrid X-Trail in the national automotive market.
According to General Manager of Sales Strategy Nissan, Budi Nur believer, the sales target variants of the hybrid is relatively small. Even far below Nissan car belonging to other variants.
"In the early stages, we are targeting 5 units per month," said Budi.
Budi recognizes the type of hybrid car market in is still very small compared to conventional vehicles. Therefore, the selling price of a car of this kind are relatively expensive. For example, the all-new Nissan X-Trail conventionally marketed for Rp 400 million, while the hybrid version is sold at a price of Rp 625 million per unit. This happened, partly because import duties and taxes are relatively high for a hybrid car, even reaching 25 percent.
"Therefore, the market leader in this segment alone can only sell 10-15 units a month," he said.
As a follow-up in order to market a hybrid car could be boosted, Budi urged the government to realize the tax incentives and import duties for the hybrid type vehicle. He compared it with some ASEAN countries that have ratified the tax incentive scheme and duties, so that markets energy-efficient vehicles and environmentally friendly can flourish.
Indonesia itself is the second country to be a market for the all-new Nissan X-Trail Hybrid after Japan. Nissan X-Trail adopts a hybrid version MR20DD hybrid engine capacity of 2 liters with an additional electric motor unit capable of issuing a power of 185 horsepower. Charging of electric power in Lithium Ion battery can be done in a low or high speed. Nissan itself claims that the X-Trail Hybrid is able to generate more power from the 2.5-liter petrol engine version.
